PlanIt North provides facilitation, report-writing, and research support to the Saht Environmental Research and Monitoring Forum. The Forum includes representatives from the Saht - the Saht Secretariat, each community Renewable Resources Council and the Saht Renewable Resources Board as well as government, industry and academia in an effort to foster more effective research collaborations that reflect local and regional priorities and meaningfully engage community members. The Forum is working to complete a regional environmental research and monitoring strategy and also connects regularly by phone and in person to discuss research initiatives and develop research and monitoring skills.
