About Plangea
Founded in 2002, Plangea Inc. was created to design and manufacture a range of sun protective products primarily for the children's market. In 2005 the Company introduced the first ever sun protective rash guard for dogs and followed soon with a matching visor. Initially thought to be more of a fashion statement for dogs, it soon became clear that there was a need for sun protection for pets. This was the start of Plangea'sPlayaPup brand of pet products. From that point the brand extended its product line to a number of unique and utilitarian products for pets. Plangea also has SunBusters brand of sun protective swimwear and Molehill Mountain brand of winter wear for kids.
