At A Place to Grow our relationship with our families is the foundation of our program and we have an open door policy. All parents are involved in our schools, annual parent conferences, regular progress reports daily letters curriculum plans are posted on your classroom website. A Place to Grow encourages informal visits, check-ins, phone calls t... hat go directly to the schools. For parents who want to be more involved we welcome you to join one of our parent committees: class volunteers, special events representatives, welcoming committee, parent/teacher exchange. Family events occur seasonally every year and are a parent/child favorite. What is security like? All entrances are secured by a key pad lock system. Anyone else must be manually allowed to enter the center, we request photo identification for .. families designate emergency contacts and authorized pick up individuals. Are you nut free? An allergy to nuts is serious therefore all our schools are peanut free. What are the qualifications of your staff? Our founder has a bachelor's degree from Wellesley in Psychology and a master's degree in education from Lesley University. Our directors have bachelor's degrees in early childhood education and our classroom teachers come from diverse backgrounds including early education, Montessori, elementary education and child development. In addition to their educational qualifications, we choose our teachers who are enthusiastic, committed, positive and a genuine love of young children.
