Established in 2017. Neapolitan pizza, espresso, drinks, event space, community meeting space, lots of love Alessandra Carreon, one of the co-owners of PizzaPlex, grew up on different continents, including Europe, where her family ran a small pizzeria in Naples. In high school, she worked in a pizzeria. When Alessandra and her husband, Drew McUsic, got married in Naples in 2015, they received pizza-making certificates from Fabio Cristiano, internationally-acclaimed founder of Scuola di Pizzaiolo and mentor. What to do next? After returning from Italy, Alessandra and Drew hand-build a wood-fired pizza oven in their backyard with the help of close friends, like Nathan Hannon. The team served their neighbors and perfected the art over several months between 2015 and 2016. By 2017, Alessandra, Drew, and Nathan worked hard to bring PizzaPlex to life.Explore more
