Pittsburgh Umpire Association

PUA provides umpires for numerous leagues and levels of amateur and community baseball in the South Hills neighborhoods and towns of Pittsburgh, as well as other areas near the city of Pittsburgh. These leagues go from 10- to 12-year old Little League tournaments, through Pony, Colt, and Supercolt league schedules, up to and including young adult c... ompetition with high school and post-high school travel teams, American Legion, and Palomino baseball. Our organization meets in the second week of each month in the spring and summer months to conduct Association business and assign games. Meeting attendance is required for active members. All active members pay yearly dues of $60, allowing PUA to cover its operating costs and provide for an end-of-season social outing for all active members at no cost. PUA currently has 28 active members, who yearly elect an executive board of our president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, rules interpreter, and games assigner.
