When you love what you do, it shows. Principal and co-founder, David Kinnett , leads development operations for the company. His career spans more than 25 years and covers all facets of the real estate development business, including due diligence and feasibility, financial analysis, site planning, entitlement, project management, purchasing, construction, and warranty operations. He has developed hundreds of communities and more than 3,000 homes in 30 different cities. David holds a real estate finance degree from USC and is a licensed general contractor in the State of California. Principal and co-founder, Robert Scanlan, is a 25 year veteran of the real estate development and finance industry, with a focus on strategic planning, acquisitions, financing and community design. Prior to co-founding Pinnacle Residential, he served as Regional Manager for Pacer Communities, Division President for Richmond American Homes and spent a decade in various senior executive positions at Kaufman and Broad (KB Home), including Corporate Director of Western Development and Executive Vice President of the Greater LA Division. Prior to starting his career in real estate, Robert was a licensed CPA in the State of Wisconsin, having spent 5 years at public accounting firm, Arthur Anderson & Co.
