Pineview Baptist Church

Pineview began as a church plant on the south side of Thomasville, started by Thomasville Baptist Church in 1957. Nineteen people began meeting in a garage with a dirt floor in those early days. When Pineview was formally birthed in the summer of 1962, the members had a vision that Gods work here would be This statement simply communicates the fact... that our desire is to be a ministry in which we bring glory to God by directing the lost souls on the stormy seas of life to safety in Jesus Christ. That underlying desire compels us to fulfill Gods purpose for Pineview Baptist Church as a ministry and as individual followers of Christ. Our purpose for existing rests in Gods Great Commandment and His Great Commission that we find in Scripture: Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All of the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
