Pi Kapp

Pi Kapp has already proven itself to be the unquestioned leader in inter-fraternity athletics by winning last year's President's Cup, the award given to the fraternity with the strongest overall performance in sports, our second win in 4 years. We also maintain excellent relationships with the sororities at UM Last year, winning both Alpha Delta Pi... and Zeta Tau Alpha philanthropies. Each year we host unparallelled tailgates, sororities mixers, and crush parties. Our annual "Snow Party," has been called the best event on campus. If you've spent time on campus, you've probably heard of it. Last year, we celebrated our formal in style with a yacht off the coast of Ft. Lauderdale and a two-night stay at the Ft. Lauderdale Hilton, and our next formal promises to be better-than-ever. Our accomplishments are well known across campus. At the 2013-2014 AGLO Awards, our members took home plenty of hardware, including the Gamma Award for outstanding service to the Fraternity and Sorority Community, IFC President of the Year, IFC Senior of the Year, and IFC Fraternity Man of the Year, making us the organization with the most individual members recognized by IFC. Our members can also be found on all of the major Greek Life leadership committees: The Interfraternity Council, The American Greek Letters Organization, and the UM Greek Week Executive Board. Another truly unique aspect of Pi Kapp is our emphasis on service. Pi Kappa Phi is the only fraternity that owns and operates its own philanthropic organization, The Abilities Experience. Rather than collecting donations for another organization, all of the money raised by Pi Kapp chapters (including the $5000 raised by Alpha Chi in 2014 through our "Pirate Plunge" philanthropy week) is invested in direct impact projects for people with disabilities as well as toward educating undergraduates, alumni, and local communities about the abilities of people with disabilities.
