Donna D. Lovely is a fine art and freelance photographer with an eye of a painter. Her camera captures images with a personal twist. She transforms traditional photographs through her unique point of view and turns them into thoughtful, emotional and sometimes surreal works of art. "So many intriguing images, so little time. Studying drawing and pa... inting taught me to compose a picture and to really look at and see my surroundings, but I felt restricted to capturing only a small portion of what I wanted to convey. The camera allows me to capture many more of the beautiful and interesting views that I see and tempts me with the promise of many more. To me, a successful photo is one that evokes an emotion and lures the viewer to keep looking for more in the image. The true test is if the viewer remembers the picture long after he sees it." Donna fell in love with photography at her alma mater, Tufts University, and furthered her photography education at Richmond College in London, S.U.N.Y. Purchase and Creadle School of Art in Winter Park, FL. Her photographs are in numerous private collections as well as the prestigious permanent collections of the Orlando Museum of Art and the Tampa Museum of Art. Jurors have awarded special honors to her work in competitive exhibitions and festivals across the country and her photographs have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the USA and in Europe.
