About Philippine Tours
Philippine Tours may still be where it physically started but a lot of changes have continuously evolved to adapt to changing industry conditions. In 1983, Wayne Alley and his Filipina partner Florence Alley started Philippine Tours, a business specialising in travel to the Philippines. The Philippine Tours office was based originally in Walhalla Street, Pascoe Vale South, Victoria. Wayne and Florence saw that the Philippines was one of the fast and growing destinations for Australians in the 1980s. The travel business for the Alleys proved to be successful. The encouraging result prompted them to expand their business by widening the market segments. In 1986, Villager Pty. Ltd. was established as an umbrella company for the various business trading names created to target specific travel market segments.
