Even though the first P.F. Changs opened in 1993, the company's story began in the early 1960s when Philip Chiang (the company's co-founder) worked in his mothers authentic Chinese restaurant. After graduating from art school, he channeled his creative and culinary talents into cooking his mothers authentic recipes and opened a restaurant of his ow... n.
