Petroport is a privately - owned panamanian business, established since the outset of the Hydrocarbons'market deregulation and dates back to 1994 when the Panamanian LPG importation market was first opened to the other competitors. Opening operations in LPG storage with a capacity of 8 tanks of 120,000 gallons e/o, four (4) landings and land leased to the ARI (National Government). A limited supply of marine fuel business (Bunkering) in the Atlantic of Panama Canal and terminal obsolescence in the Cristobal area led to the opening of Petrobunker S.A. in May 2009; a branch of the company which specializes in storage, custody and handling of petroleum derived fuel - Fuel Oil and Marine Diesel. In order to meet the highest standards in the industry, we selected Chicago Bridge & Company (CB & I) to handle the construction of our new terminal for storage and handling of Fuel Oil and Diesel Marino. Installing a total capacity of 505,000 barrels liquid fuels; five (5) tanks with a capacity of 75,000 bbls of fuel oil; two (2) tanks with a capacity of 50,000 for MGO diesel; one (1) tank cutter stock of 25,000 bbls; and one (1) slop tank of 5,000 bbls. Also includes one (1) truck loading bay where ships diesel or bunker. Today, our LPG terminal has a total storage/racking capacity of 68,570 BBLS, 51,428 BBLS divided (18 tanks of 120,000 gallons e/o) in our primary storage area, and 17,142 BBLS in our expansion project, completed in 2013, adding six (6) additional tanks. Consisting of six (6) Butane and two (2) HD5 Propane discharge slots, controlled by an automated filling system guaranteeing processing safety. Our maritime operations optimize gas tankers' LPG service to our customers.
