Our clients enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing that we are a UKAS accredited laboratory (UKAS Testing Number: 4695) with highly qualified, competent, experienced materials scientists and geologists with strong analytical skills and understanding of the requirements of the construction industry. We always follow the requirements of ISO 17025 throughout our entire operation. UKAS testing accreditation demonstrates technical competence, impartiality and sustainable performance when judged against ISO 17025. We offer a variety of materials testing services, in particular, the petrographic examination of construction materials, including aggregates, rocks, stones and all hydraulic-cement mixtures (concrete, screed, render, mortar, terrazzo, etc.). Although we do undertake non-UKAS accredited tests when required, we follow the same rigorous processes as would be expected from any laboratory committed to ISO 17025 in everything we do. Non-UKAS accredited tests will include X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) techniques, or the petrographic examination of materials beyond the scope of the usual petrographic standards.Read More
