Petra Resource Management (PRM) was started in 2012 as a DBA of Petra Products, Inc., a California corporation founded in 1985. PRM is a Department of General Services (DGS) certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) and Micro-Business providing professional services in the arena of cultural resource management. While PRM is a relatively new company, we are not short on credentialed, experienced, and qualified personnel who are established and recognized experts in CRM compliance and practice. PRM has available a full range of field equipment and is capable of conducting numerous projects concurrently, including construction monitoring, survey, and excavation. Field documentation is aided by the latest technology available including ArcGIS and Trimbles with sub meter accuracy. PRM has access to a laboratory fully equipped to process, analyze, and curate all sizes and manners of collections. The lab is also outfitted with binocular microscopes including specialized microscopes for paleoethnobotany, lithic use-wear, and ceramic analysis.
