The company started trading in June 2012. In May 2014 the company acquired Roberts Knight Selection Ltd (RKS which started on 8th May 2001) following a retirement. FT Partnership Ltd (FTP) was acquired in June 2013 and Forties People Ltd (FP) acquired in January 2014. In January 2015, Peter Knight Recruitment Ltd consolidated its trading position t... o one company but also uses the trading name Forties People at www.fortiespeople.com building on its reputation as a well-known and successful mature candidate provider and advocate of older workers in the workplace. In the summer of 2015, Peter Knight Consultancy Group Ltd (PKCG Ltd) was formed along with Fifties People Ltd and Peter Knight HR Services Ltd (PKHRS Ltd). PKHRS Ltd specialises in HR Consultancy, Vetting and Screening Services and Outplacement and Career Coaching Services. Redford Cairns Ltd was acquired in November 2015 and specialises in the supply of Finance, Accounts and Compliance staff. The long term goal is to grow organically with our current clients and by acquiring other business that add value to the overall business offering. Although we mainly trade in London and the South East, we provide recruitment services wherever our clients have offices throughout the UK. We prefer to work directly with decision makers who are empowered to make choices within an agreed time-scale. This helps us to manage candidate expectations and for us to work to clear time-lines if possible.
