Peter Cox Design Studio provides a portfolio of integrated creative and production services to a client base purposely maintained at low numbers. This helps to ensure quality of service which, in turn, nurtures the longstanding relationships we like to build with our clients. Becoming considered almost an in-house element of our clients' marketing... effort rather than as just occasional suppliers is an approach that yields mutual benefits through understanding, efficiency and loyalty. The majority of our current clients are SMEs managed by owner-directors, most of whom are operating a technology or engineering-based company in a b2b marketplace. Formally founded in 1986, one of our main assets is many years of commercial experience. Add to that a mature combination of artful creativity tempered with pragmatism and a keen sense of client service and you have the essence of Peter Cox Design Studio. Peter Cox has been designing for his own clients since before 1983 when he graduated from Leicester Polytechnic with a BA(Hons) degree in Industrial Design (Engineering). During his early career he worked as Engineering Assistant in the Solar Energy Division of an Abingdon-based Lithium power cell manufacturer; designing cell layouts, panel production tools and military and civilian applications for photovoltaic solar panels. Subsequently, he was responsible for the Technical Graphics section of gas analysis equipment manufacturer Analysis Automation. It was whilst here that he gained much of his first-hand experience of silk-screen printing and began to design more extensively for marketing comunications; learning photographic direction skills and laying down an understanding of the litho printing process in the days of galley setting and film planning.
