Pete n Peters is closed due to Covid-19. To all our customers, friend and family, please stay healthly and safe. Went in on a Tuesday evening and they had three different games on three different TVs . A nice touch is getting table service too. You can order food from Zas, the restaurant in the back and it was fried chicken night (Tuesday). Holy Cr... @p it was good!! The best, most tender and moist on the inside and crisp on the outside fried chicken I have had in a while (yup, I said it). The plate came with house made mashed potatoes and cream corm with red peppers and bacon in it. I paired the meal with a cold beer and it was perfect. they have a shuffleboard table and two pool tables. fun place, Im sure its hoppin on the weekends. Met my soon to be wife here. 3/9/14 When I was a non-local after moving to Truckee from Southern Cal and finding work at Tahoe City Pharmacy, this place and its owner were a part of the great North Shore community that gave me a sense of belonging. Special thanks go to Dave Johnny B Rutter, one of Pete N Peters owners, who always had a smile and positive vibe, whether he was standing behind the bar or visiting us over at the pharmacy.
