Feather Polo, C-IAYT 1000 Yoga Therapist, studied solely under IYT lineage with her advanced studies being completed at Kripalu for Yoga Therapy with an emphasis on Ayurveda. She was born in Lima, Peru to Allopathic Medical & Shamanic families. Her Maternal Grandfather was world renowned surgeon and obstetrician Dr. Gerardo Lozada and her Paternal... Grandfather was a leading Shaman in Cusco. Feather weaves an extensive background in Dance (Flamenco & Ballet), Gymnastics and Shamanism into her teachings. Her classes provide a sacred space for students to deeply awaken to their bodies. A fusion of calming grounded energy + playful nature is characteristic for her students to experience. She feels her teachers inspired her to share the ancient wisdom of yoga and Ayurveda with others which she is eternally grateful for. Her deep study of yoga and holistic health infuses her spirit with the joy reminiscent of Flamenco and Gymnastics from her childhood. She is a International Yoga Instructor, Brand Ambassador as well as a Certified member of International Association of Yoga Therapist and also registered with Yoga Alliance . In addition she has basic semi~informal one-year Holistic studies that she brings to her practice. While also solely using these modalities for 25+ years ~ a witness to the benefits of a Holistic/Ayurvedic Lifestyle. These studies Include: Naturopathic Medicine, Anthroposophical Medicine, Homeopathy, Chinese Medicine and Midwifery.
