The Company - Global Energy Group, S.A.C., through its brand name Peru Ethanol, manufactures and markets ethanol fuel worldwide. Our production facilities are located in the unique environment of the Peruvian coast, where we propogate sugar cane plantations, attaining some of the highest yields anywhere in the world. Utilizing the great sugar growi... ng potential and reliable nature of the climate in coastal Peru, we are creating the most affordable and sustainable source of this valuable gasoline replacement. Distilleries - Our premier facility, located in the region of Piura, Peru is being constructed of the most state-of-the-art, pollution-free equipment, utilizing advanced process technologies, producing 50 million gallons of ethanol per year. We will continue to develop our projects in Peru, attaining 300 million gallons in annual production to help meet local and foreign needs. Agriculture - We are also in the business of sugar cane cultivation as this crop is the feedstock for the finished product. With over 12,000 hectares (30,000 acres) of sugar cane, we are becoming a leading producer of new greenfield crops. our facilities, we dispose of the major waste component (bagasse) in the boilers, creating electricity sold to the national power grid. This additional source of clean energy also provides significant revenue. As testimony to the efficiency of our facilities, an entire operation only consumes one-third of the total power it produces.
