Miro Lu is an experienced broadcast journalist and media executive. Her working experience in both Western and Chinese media organisations has equipped her with the necessary skills to communicate effectively with audiences from both worlds. Shes worked in newsrooms in Singapore, Shanghai and New York City. Graduated from Communication University o... f China (formerly known as Beijing Broadcast Institute) with a degree in Journalism and Communication, Miro started her career as a financial journalist at CNBC Asia. After she left CNBC, Miro joined China Business Network (CBN) in Shanghai and then in New York. During her time as CBN TVs first New York Correspondent, she broke stories on Chinese companies U.S. IPOs at the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq. She also covered the first US-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue in 2009. She was stationed in Sama Sama hotel in Kuala Lumpur for a 7-day reporting stint when MH370 went missing. She witnessed the historic Xi-Ma Meeting in 2015 and the Trump-Kim Summit in 2018. She reported LIVE from Central Sulawesi days after a 7.5 magnitude earthquake and from Tokyo when Typhoon Hagibis landed. As the founder and managing director at Perspective Media, Miro now leads a team of producers, videographers and editors who come from diverse backgrounds but are united by the passion of telling compelling stories. Perspective Media proudly contributes features and short films for our international news clients, including CNN International, BBC Future and Vice Media. She started her career with the Indian news network TV Today, where she worked as prime-time producer for the English news channel, Headlines Today (later renamed India Today TV).
