Personal Awards was started in 1976 by Ray and Sandy McDonald in their home in South San Francisco. The equipment used to make trophies consisted of a drill press, hand saw and pantograph manual engraving machine. After the business overtook the home's space, it was moved to an office/warehouse unit in Brisbane, California, where it resided until 1... 999. Although the main focus of the business started as trophy and plaque making, it ventured out into screen printing T-shirts and embroidering apparel in 1988. The business was acquired by son Ray McDonald in 1991 and was moved to San Mateo in 1999 where it has been ever since. We are a full-service embroidery, digital printing, screen printing and engraving company.
