About Perrone Construction
Perrone Construction was founded in 1980 when Richard Perrone relocated from the east coast of Florida where he had worked as a superintendent for a luxury oceanfront builder. To get an idea of the market for luxury homes in Sarasota Rich started a trim carpentry company and on nights and weekends studied for his contractor's license. His hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed and while working late one night installing trim on a project the home's owner recognized Richs dedication and integrity and told him that once Rich received his contractor's license he would be recommending a friend of his to build with the newly formed Perrone Construction. The project was a large Sarasota waterfront luxury home that upon selling to its second owner set a record for the highest price ever paid for a home in Sarasota County.
