People's Community Services

People's Community Services (PCS) cares greatly about our community. This year has been a trying time. Since suspending programming due to Covid-19 in March 2020, PCS has continued to work remotely while trying to ensure services could resume when it became safe to do so. After a very unpredictable year, and much consideration and thought, we have... decided to permanently close PCS. All programs and services were effectively terminated as of November 30, 2020. PCS has provided services since 1955, and in that time, PCS contributed to the well-being of the community, helped many families, and partnered with many organizations. We reflect on the impact PCS had for residents and families in Detroit throughout its 65 years of service. We thank you for all of your contributions and connections to this organization.
