Pennant Aviation

After graduation from University, I served in the U.S. Navy as a pilot for five years. In the computer industry until 1991, I worked with IBM until I left as a Marketing Manager Large Systems and joined Econocom as EVP Sales and Marketing. I entered the commercial aviation industry in 1991 serving as Vice President of Sales and Marketing of The Mem... phis Group, an aviation spares trading company, until 1999. In 2000, I joined Boeing Airplane Services division and served as Vice President Avionics Modification Services. Recruited by AAR as VP of Airframe Sales, I joined them in 2002. I have been in the aviation industry since 1966 in jobs ranging from systems technician in the U.S. Air Force to my current job as Partner at Pennant Aviation. After military service, I completed my undergraduate engineering studies and began a job in maintenance program development and support engineering for the U.S. Navy. I finished my graduate studies and then moved to Pacific Southwest Airlines as an airframe reliability and maintenance engineer. I joined Federal Express in 1980 as an airframe maintenance engineer progressing through engineering management into senior management as Manging Director of Quality Assurance in 1984. Following an almost seven yar assignment in QA, I was reassigned to head Aircraft Component Maintenance which is responsible for the operation of internal shops and the management of vendor supplied maintenance. I joined Universal Asset Management as Vice President of Technical Services in 1995. Technical Services is responsible for all technical and regulatory issues involved in buying and selling commercial airplanes, engines and spares inventories. I joined Don B.
