Pemtom was founded in 1963 and has accomplished a number of firsts in the industry. These include one of the first Planned Unit Developments, the employment of landscape architects for the preservation of trees, and the use of architects to design home exteriors and land plans that resulted in more creative neighborhoods. In 1990 we elected to spec... ialize only in land development and to do so in a fashion that would add value to the communities which we develop. We were also committed to establishing neighborhoods that create real estate investment opportunities for those individuals buying lots from us and building homes in the Twin Cities market. Since 1990 we have created over 20 new neighborhoods in the Metro area including Trillium Bay in Minnetrista, Greenwoods on the Lake in Greenwood, Legends of Stillwater in Stillwater, Wynnfield, Settlers Ridge, Hennepin Village, and Entreveaux in Eden Prairie, Locust Hills in Wayzata, and our newest developments, Charley Lake Preserve and Red Pine Farm in North Oaks.
