Pelham Fire Department

The Pelham Fire Department operates 2 Engines, 1 Tanker, 2 Ambulances, 2 Brush units, a Heavy Rescue and 2 Command cars from a centrally located station. Your fire department has 24/7 coverage. There are 4 shifts which consist of 1 Lieutenant and 3 Firefighters. Each shift also has a Paramedic within those 4 members, a Paramedic can use more advanc... ed life saving techniques then that of the EMT which may mean the difference between life and death. If there is more than one emergency happening at once the call department is vital to ensure the safety of the citizens of the town of Pelham. The call department as well has 2 Paramedics and 8 EMT-Basics. All other personnel have received some formal training in First Aid, and are available to help out on ambulance calls. The ambulance service is an emergency-only service and will transport to Lowell General and Saints Memorial in Lowell, Southern NH Regional Medical Center and Saint Joseph's in Nashua, Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Lawrence General and Parkland Medical Center in Derry.Read More
