Pegasus is owned and operated by people who have been involved in the horse industry for over 35 years. Our staff and family members have actively participated in reining, thoroughbred racing, rodeo, competitive trail, cattle penning, cutting, dressage, hunter hack, three day eventing,family Light Horse shows, 4-H Light Horse it all started with po... ny club. In 1993 Pegasus Equine Products began as a blanket wash and repair service. There was considerable pressure from our customers to start making custom fitted blankets. And in 1994; after a lot of research, we launched our own brand of blankets and accessories. We are extremely proud that our very first customers who encouraged us to start our own line of blankets are still valued clients today. The Pegasus manufacturing shop and showroom were located in Water Valley, Alberta, Canada then moved to Caroline Alberta. This helps keep the overhead costs down which is definitely reflected in our affordable prices. It is important in the design and development of new products to have easy access to horses on site, and what better place than the rugged Canadian Rockies to test horse blankets! With better fitting blankets required far and wide; we developed our measuring system, which now eliminates the need for us to see the animal in person. With our roots in customer service, and a creative & innovative nature, Pegasus has evolved into being a world renowned supplier of custom fitted horse blankets and accessories.
