The Association was inspired by the vision of Mr. Shimon Peres, the President of Israel, who foresaw the importance of Nanotechnology for Israel's future. Since its establishment in 2006, the Association has gathered scholars from the worlds of Academia and Finance, Public and Private Industry, and the Defense sectors - representing a unique mix of academic and business knowledge and experience.
