Pearl and the Beard are Brooklyn trio Jocelyn Mackenzie (vocals / percussion), Emily Hope Price (vocals / cello / keys) and Jeremy Lloyd-Styles (vocals / guitars). Formed in 2007, the three passionately intertwine three distinct voices amidst a powerfully delicate orchestra of cello, guitars, keyboard, bells, and percussion, offering songs that spe... ak to joy and sorrow, love and loss. The breadth of their songwriting and genre-defying sound is reflected in the vast variety of other artists with whom they've shared the stage, most notably Ani DiFranco, Neko Case, Iron & Wine, Ingrid Michaelson, Bastille, Dar Williams, Lucius, You Won't, David Wax Museum, Lady Lamb, The Drums, Matt + Kim, Sharon Van Etten, Laura Marling and more. The trio released their third full-length studio album Beast in the fall of 2015 and were proud to have performed their album release show at New York's Bowery Ballroom to a sold-out crowd.
