About Peak Exploration & Production
Peak is focused on exploring and developing its strong acreage position in the Powder River Basin. Peak has identified and drilled horizontal wells in five different stacked formations ranging from 7,500' to 12,500' TVD. Peak has been successfully drilling and completing top performing wells in the Powder River Basin since 2012. Year-to-date 2019, Peak is the 4th largest horizontal oil producer in the Powder River Basin. Peak Exploration & Production is a private equity funded oil and gas company focused on exploring and developing highly economic projects across the western United States. Since 2002, Peak has had highly successful projects in Texas, New Mexico, North Dakota, and Wyoming. Peak Powder River Resources, LLC, was formed in 2012 and has since drilled and completed over 90 horizontal wells in the PRB. Headquartered in Durango, CO and other offices in Denver, CO and Wright, WY, Peak has 29 full-time employees with more than 20 contractors.Explore more
