Jim Oberman joined Payroc in May 2015, as Managing Director and in Septembe 2016 was appointed CEO. Jim oversees Payrocs strategic initiatives and long term enterprise development, bringing a vast array of electronic payments expertise and over 27 years of senior executive and entrepreneur payments experience. Jims primary role is to ensure Payroc continues to have the payments capabilities to properly serve its merchants, Payment Professionals and referral partners. Since 2000 Jim has served National Processing Company (NPC-formerly Retriever Payment Systems) in a variety of senior executive capacities. In 2010 Vantiv (VNTV:NYSE) purchased NPC and Vantiv appointed Jim as the Managing Director of Vantivs NPC ISO business. Late in 2013 Vantiv appointed Jim to serve as Vantivs enterprise wide Chief Merchant Risk Officer. NPC is Vantivs nationwide ISO merchant distribution business serving over 220,000 small-to-medium sized merchants. During Jims tenure with NPC and Vantiv, he also drove the development of and relationship with several key NPC ISOs, as well as oversight and management of specific specialty initiatives.
