Pawprint Foundation PTY LTD is driven to help the thousands of companion animals left homeless in Australia every year. More than a quarter of a million healthy cats and dogs are destroyed in Australia every year. Sadly so many animals are surrendered to pounds and end up on a Deathrow list. They can be euthanised within 3 to 7 days, unless we assi... st with their rescue. Our main focus is to rescue and rehome those, injured, abandoned, on deathrow and homeless under our ethical rehoming program. We recruit volunteer foster carers who open their hearts and homes to those in need. We also aim to purchase shelters, each with a special quarantine unit to allow us to help those most in need. Our current project Far North QLD Move a Paw is aimed at helping the already overloaded rescue groups and shelters in Far North QLD. Pets are transport to Moreton Bay and placed in foster homes. They are then fully vetted i.e. desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and then placed for adoption.
