Paul Martin & Sons began operations in 1988 when Paul Martin turned his small used equipment sales and rental operation into a full-time dealership selling new seeding and tillage equipment from the Tye Company. From the beginning, Pauls customers understood the value of personalized and knowledgeable servic... e in farm machinery, specifically in niche markets. Today the tradition of offering the absolute best equipment from the worlds most renowned manufacturers along with expert sales and service continues today. In 2006 Pauls son Doug came home to join his dad in the family business full time. With a commitment to growing the business to a larger and more diversified scale, sales have multiplied 10-fold since his return. This has been accomplished by the offering of several new equipment lines, key additions in personnel and services that positions Paul Martin & Sons to be a force in the new and used equipment industry of Northwest Ohio, Southeast Michigan and Northeast Indiana. Dougs role with the company is now General Manager and Sales Manager. Doug also handles most marketing duties for the business on a day to day basis. Paul Martin & Sons took a larger step toward its status as a full-service dealership with the hiring of Ted Stover in 2011. Ted brought the ability of the dealership to operate like its competitors by having an actual service department. Teds superior mechanical and fabrication skills gives Paul Martin & Sons a competitive advantage over other dealerships. Ted serves as both the Parts and Service Manager and has two full time employees working under him. In 2014 Eric Wiemken was hired as Paul Martin & Sons first full time, dedicated salesman. Eric travels Ohio, Michigan and Indiana engaging with customers and helping them to reach their farming goals with the right equipment for their operation.
