The Red Arrows past past a very quiet Buckingham Palace and Queen Victoria Memorial, which would have been packed with people normally. Due to the country being on lockdown, many celebrations will have to take place in peoples homes and front gar... dens, whilst keeping socially distant from others. Large celebrations were to take place and The Mall was expected to be packed with people and the Royal family, including Queen Elizabeth II, would normally have been on the balcony of Buckingham ready to watch a flypast from the Red Arrows. The country is on lockdown due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. People are not allowed to leave home except for minimal food shopping, medical treatment, exercise - once a day, and essential work.
