Patrick Baker & Sons was founded by Patrick A. Baker in 1965. Natives of Dublin, Ireland, Patrick and Patricia Baker opened their original firm in Hartford, CT where they began as a church supply company servicing many churches in the Northeast. In 1968, the business expanded, adding a wholesale catalog division. As Mr. and Mrs. Baker's seven child... ren grew, so did the business. In 1985, a new retail store, warehouse and catalog supply center opened in Southington, CT, where a number of the Baker children became involved in the business. Today, Patrick Baker & Sons serves customers throughout New England and across the country, reaching as far as Bermuda, England and Puerto Rico. Four of the Baker children work for the company full-time, and two of the Bakers' grandsons have stepped into the business as well.
