Our roots can be traced back to 1973 when PATH was incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation. This came about from the efforts of a group of dedicated community members, many of whom had family members in need of services, which were scarce to non-existent at the time. They worked tirelessly with a group of caring professionals to form PATH and to secure funding in order to provide much needed services to the citizens of Northeast Philadelphia. This tradition of the involvement of dedicated and compassionate community members continues today through our volunteer Board of Directors who are all residents of Northeast Philadelphia. The Board of Directors, which is largely composed of family members of individuals who participate in our programs, continues to strongly advocate for the needs of the community. Over the years, our community has expanded to include individuals throughout the city of Philadelphia and in surrounding counties through our Specialized Russian services.Read More
