Pathfinder Solutions is a nonprofit research and advisory firm specializing in talent development and capacity building for cause-focused organizations. Our parent organization was founded in 1982 to promote civic engagement and over the years has served as an incubator for many socially responsible, entrepreneurial projects. Pathfinder team of ass... ociates have an average of over 20 years of experience, have worked on every continent, and speak 10 languages. Our work includes projects ranging from small-scale, locally focused efforts, to broad-based multi-state and multi-agency assignments. Our staff and consortium of consultants have particularly strong background in organizational development, leadership, research, evaluation and change management. We provide services to foundations, non-profits/NGOs, corporate social responsibility programs, educational institutions and government agencies. We have extensive experience working with underprivileged populations. Much of our work has been in the fields of health, education, environment, aging and youth development. We present at national conferences and have authored articles published by the Stanford Social Innovations Review, Harvard Law School, Council on Foundations, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Admin., and the National Center on Elder Abuse. Awards received by our co-founders include the Golden Bell Award, Thousand Points of Light Award, and the Stephen Graham Award, Colorado's highest award for nonprofit capacity building. Pathfinder's co-founders, Jeff Pryor and Alexandra Mitchell, have taught at Regis University, the University of Colorado, and the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.
