Pat Moreo

Dr. Pat Moreo has been in the hospitality industry since 1965. He has served as a hotel manager, a consultant for PKF and a professor, with many positions in between. His specialty areas include F&B and Hotel feasibility studies and operations analysis including customized operational audits. He also has served as an expert witness in several resta... urant cases. He has designed and conducted industry training programs and has consulted for many hospitality academic programs, designing curriculum and performing accreditation and review reports. He is currently Dean and Professor in the College of Hospitality and Tourism Leadership at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee. Dr. Moreo received his B.S. and Ed.D. from UNLV and his Master's degree from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. Dr. Andrew Moreo earned his Ph.D. in Hospitality Management in the UNLV College of Hotel Administration. HIs area of specialization is Strategic Planning and Food & Beverage Management. At The Culinary Institute of America he served as the Client Relationship Manager for CIA Consulting. Previously he was a curriculum designer in the Continuing Education Department. taught one day courses for the non-professional food enthusiast at the CIA. Dr. Moreo achieved a Masters of Science in Hospitality Information Management at the University of Delaware, a certificate from the CIAs Advanced Culinary Arts Program, as well as a Baccalaureate degree from Oklahoma State University in hospitality management. After studying at the CIA he was the Banquet Sous Chef for Silverado Brewing Company in St. Helena, California, as well as the Chef and Innkeeper at Cornerstone Inn in Landenberg, Pennsylvania.
