Since 1977, we have worked with historical societies, museums, and heritage preservation commissions to develop creative approaches to history. Our philosophy is that good history, properly interpreted, engages peoples hearts and minds. Weve created video walking tours, museum media programs, and oral history interviews. Working with local historical societies, museums, and other organizations, we have produced award-winning books like A German Town: A History of New Ulm, Minnesota and Heritage: Preserving Eden Prairies Past. If a short publication works best, we can help with brochures and guidebooks. Historic buildings create a sense of place and connect communities to their past. We assist with National Register of Historic Places nominations, preservation planning, and tax credit projects. Past work includes the U.S. Air Force Academy, for which we wrote a National Historic Landmark nomination. The key to a vibrant downtown is street activity encouraging visitors to walk and explore.
