Gastroenterologists are specialists in digestive diseases. We've gotten our knowledge and experience through college, 4 years of medical school, 3 or more years of Internal Medicine residency, 2 years of GI fellowship and then in practice. The physicians and staff of Gastroenterology Associates maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay current in knowledge to meet your expectations. Your doctors are all Board Certified in their specialty fields. We work only out of Huntington Hospital and our night and emergency call coverage is shared only amongst ourselves. Our Pasadena Endoscopy Center has been rewarded with the highest quality ratings by nationally recognized agencies. All of us are Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in Gastroenterology, which includes diseases of the liver (hepatology) and training in nutrition. We are all members of the teaching faculty for the medical residents of Huntington Hospital. Dr Littenberg started the practice in 1978. He graduated from Reed College and from the USC School of Medicine (1973), completed 5 years of postgraduate residency and specialty training at both USC and UCLA.
