We are here to work within the community to improve the lives of families living with autism and other developmental disabilities. We are determined to involve families in becoming a part of the SOLUTION. Your input is VITAL to our mission. We will strive to provide services and programs to help integrate our loved ones into the community in which... they live. It is time to not only think outside the boxit is time to build an entire new box that capitalizes on our loved ones strengths rather than focusing on any weaknesses. Medical treatment for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities should be available regardless of income, where they live, or insurance. While it is improving, this is still not the case. We will provide Behavior Assistant services, billing Medicaid, Medicaid Waiver and insurance when able. We will utilize any proceeds from that along with donations and grants to make sure that we can go back and help those without coverage as much as we can. Parents in Action, Inc. has been founded on the principle that it will take a combination of parents, caregivers, providers, educators, legislators and the rest of the community to address the needs of the rapidly increasing population of individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. We believe that in order to face this National Health Crisis, we must all work together to train an army of caregivers to assist as these individuals mature into adulthood. We also must ensure that newly diagnosed individuals get immediate, treatment to ensure the best possible outcomes.
