The corporate office of The Purchasing Association of Private Clubs is located in Louisville, Kentucky. We are the home of the Corvette, the Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and bluegrass horse farms. Louisville is famous for its rich history of horse racing, and serves as the corporate home for numerous national companies. PAPC formed in Ma... y 1993 when several Louisville area club managers elected to consolidate their clubs' purchasing power. They believed this cooperation would produce lower costs for their clubs. Excited about the idea of consolidating the purchasing efforts, the managers contacted The Forman Group, a Louisville based purchasing resource company, to help them formulate the program. The Forman Group has provided consulting services to the foodservice industry since 1985. The club managers quickly recognized the importance of the PAPC savings program. PAPC experienced phenomenal growth as more clubs learned about its purchasing power. As the number of PAPC Member Clubs continued to climb, the number of vendors who wanted relationships with our membership expanded. PAPC found itself in the important role of being a nationwide purchasing support service for clubs.
