Abdalla formerly served as the Vice Chairman & Managing Director of the Arab African International Bank of Egypt from 2002 till 2018 before establishing Panther Associates. He held several positions as a board member of the Central Bank of Egypt, the Egyptian Stock Exchange, Telecom Egypt, Orascom Construction Industries (OCI), Ghabbour Auto (GA), the Coca Cola Bottling Company of Egypt, the Arab Business Council of World Economic Forum, the Institute of International Finance (IIF) and the IIF Emerging Markets Advisory Council in Washington DC, UBAF Paris, and UBAF Curacao as well as a board member of Endeavour Egypt where he also served as a Treasurer.
