The firm's co-founder and Vice President, Bob Kimmerling, brings extensive deep foundation design experience and bridge experience to the firm, having worked for the Federal Highway Administration and having served as the Chief Foundation Engineer for the Washington State Department of Transportation. Additionally, Bob is well versed in performing Finite Element Analysis for bridges and buildings and he co-developed and teaches a course on Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) for bridge substructures.
