Panalta, Inc. is a Consulting Firm and Solution Provider located in Palo Alto since 1996. Founded around the turn of the (century / Dot Com Bubble or whatever) Don and Kevin saw great promise of the technology, applications and services that were being offered; but not everyone was on the same page. There was a whole in the "computer's will make yo... ur life easier" philosophy; it takes time to learn how to use the tools that you are given, and some never want a tool to use but wand a solution to administer. Panalta becomes the glue that binds. We decided that we need to get involved in the community and the way people do business, to help ourselves understand what services were needed. The first of our business solutions was a billing services for the ISP Intermedia.NET. They had an automated billing service but it only allowed for monthly billing to a credit card. This was not a very dynamic or accommodating solution for most business that pay for their service a year at a time. We created a gateway that would allow the client to pay us for the year and the debit an account that had their balance. Intermedia.NET's clients are taken care of and no-longer have to consider a different hosting provider. Since then we have taught, created and trained several individuals, small and large business owners and groups and presented at various conferences. We understand that technology progresses and that new standards are adopted, and we stay connected and up to date. It takes time to stay on the edge, but the view is incredible.
