Palmas Clinic was founded by Dr. Vianka Legra Delgado and Dr. Theophilus Sai. Vianka Legra Delgado, M.D. is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Specialist with extensive experience managing a wide range of chronic conditions. She attended medical school in Havana, Cuba and did her residency training in Internal Medicine at two of Chicagos most pres... tigious medical institutions the John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County (Cook County Hospital) and Rush University Medical Center. She is bilingual (English and Spanish). Theophilus Sai, M.D. is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Specialist. Until October 2019, he served as statewide Chief Medical Officer for Alignment Healthcare in the Florida. Prior to that, he was Humanas Regional Medical Director for Medicare in Central Florida. He is Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of South Florida and also previously served as Chief Medical Officer at Tampa Family Health Centers, a network of Federally Qualified Health Centers. Dr. Sai received a degree in Medicine from the Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas in Havana, Cuba and subsequently practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Nassau, the Bahamas. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital (now John H. Stroger Hospital) and Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He was the founding Medical Director of Centro de Salud Esperanza, a community health center in Chicago.
