Pakarang Surf School

Pakarang Surf School is located in Khao Lak, Phang-Nga, Thailand on Memories Beach. Just one and a half hour north from Phuket. We have been surfing and coaching on Memories beach for over 10 years and we still love surfing our home beach. It started with Ching, Matt and friends learning to surf together and now Pakarang Surf Shop and Memories Beac... h Bar has become a surfers paradise, with hundreds of surfboards and is also host of the Khao Lak Surf Competition every year as a part of the Phuket Surf Series. We are lucky to have met so many amazing friends over the years. We are happy to meet new ones. Our good friend Burt Burger, surf board shaper and founder of Sunova has moved in right next door from Pakarang Surf School with their Surf Board Factory. They create amazing custom built balsa boards with parabolic rails and we truly recommend them. They have supplied our best riders with some and the performance of the boards is just incredible. Burt is an endless source of wisdom regarding shaping surf boards and can talk about surfing until the sun goes down and then some.Read More
