Pajarito Scientific Corporation was founded as a Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) technology transfer Company in 1986. The business was based on patented Passive/Active Neutron (PAN) technology, which the founders had assisted in developing at LANL and later expanded by adding features such as imaging capability and gamma ray energy analysis.... These technologies provided PSC with products and services that are successfully sold globally. British Nuclear Fuels Limited (BNFL, plc) purchased PSC in February 1995. This allowed the business to expand and develop to capture market share. In November 1997, the name of the business officially changed from PSC to BNFL Instruments, Inc. and the ownership of PSC was transferred to BNFL USA Group Inc., another member of the BNFL Plc Group. In 2005, BNFL Instruments, Inc. was renamed to BIL Solutions, Incorporated. In March 2007, the majority of BIL Solutions, Inc. stock was purchased from BNFL by the company's President/CEO, David Heath. In June 2007, the Company returned to the company's Los Alamos roots by re-branding itself back to the company's original name. PSC is proud to be an American-owned small business.Read More
