No, just joking. He continued to allow him to use the space free of charge, as good friends do, but began thinking there must be a business here. Mike and his family had extra space in their house and on their property that wasnt being used. They didnt want to do costly renovations and build a suite, and have tenants living in their space. Or turn the extra space into a vacation rental and aggravate the neighbours with a revolving door of tourists. However, Mike knew this extra space had value, and felt that there must be a market for it. Through research, he realized the demand was there but the platform wasnt, so he embarked on creating Storage Rental By Owner. Its the perfect solution. says Mike, It allows home owners to earn extra income with very little intrusion on their space. Like many before him, Mike understood that with the sky-high cost of real estate in cities like Vancouver, it was important that owners get creative in finding ways to supplement their mortgage. And not only do the owners earn extra income, but SRBO provides renters with more choice and therefor, lower prices for their storage needs.
