Today's facility is the result of the commitment and dedication of like-minded Reformed community pioneers who translated their vision of a loving retirement and aged care facility into reality. Christians from all walks of life and denominations enjoy living in the Village appreciating its peaceful, relaxed garden setting and a strong sense of com... munity. To live in the retirement village, couples or singles enter into a unit licence agreement which allows you to live in the unit for as long as you are able. Outlook Gardens is a great choice if you are still independent, want to be close to a wide range of nearby facilities, while still valuing the reassurance offered by caring neighbours and basic safeguards such as an emergency alarm system. The Village comprises 52 Independent Living Units, each with its own unique design and layout. The units which vary in size from 7.5 to 11 squares are set amongst beautiful fully maintained gardens. The units while being designed for privacy also create a sense of a cosy community. All of the units are fitted with up-to-date amenities that are specially designed to make life easy and comfortable. The Aged Care Facility provides 95 "Ageing in Place" beds which cater for people needing respite, low care, high care, dementia care as well as palliative care residents. We are proud of our dedicated and specialist staff who provide excellent care and create a wonderful homelike atmosphere for our residents. All residents' rooms are self-contained bed-sitting rooms with built-in wardrobe and full en-suite with shower, vanity unit and toilet. The residents are encouraged to make their rooms feel homely, including some of their own furniture, décor and treasured items. The Aged Care Facility operates in an environment regulated by Government standards and provides excellent quality care for its residents.
